The unmarried governess Käthe Scherrer is known to be a “Bluestocking” for the men’s world of 1910: she is too educated. Yet, it is her thirst for knowledge that leads to an unexpected encounter.

With this shortfilm Andreas Dahn went back to his roots as an independent filmmaker, doing camera work, directing and editing himself. He co-wrote the screenplay with main actress / producer Katharina Ingwersen. The story is inspired by the life of her great-grandmother.
